CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Baltimore, MD
Primary Job Functions:
We have an immediate opening in our home office located in Hanover, Maryland. This inside position is responsible for conducting liability and coverage investigations, bodily injury and property damage evaluations, as well as successfully negotiating the settlement of first and third party injury and property damage claims.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants should have 2 to 5 years of experience adjusting automobile accident claims. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills. A high degree of motivation and team orientation. Proficiency with property damage estimates. PC experience with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
POLICY SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Baltimore, MD
Primary Job Functions:
We have an immediate opening in our home office located in Hanover, Maryland.
This position is responsible for servicing our agent partners and our policyholders.
Each representative services 60-100 incoming calls per day in addition to other daily activities.
We assist with questions on policies, billing, coverages, cancellations as well as guidance to our agents on how to accurately quote a policy.
We do this for all states we do business in and for all products - personal auto, motorcycle and commercial auto.
Qualifications:
Math skills required. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
Requires ability to learn and understand insurance program differences between several states and how to process requested policy changes, while still cordially and courteously servicing 60-100 incoming calls per day.
Patience and listening skills - leading to problem solving (what is really being asked of me on this call) is a must.
Flexibility to work either an 8:30-5 or 9:30-6pm shift. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience helpful but not required.
UNDERWRITER - AUTOMOBILE/MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE
Location: Baltimore, MD
Primary Job Functions:
We have an immediate opening in our home office located in Hanover, Maryland.
This position is responsible for review of insurance policies to ensure all qualifications/guidelines are met for those policies.
Daily contact and conversation with our agent partners is a must, in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
Qualifications:
Math skills required. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
Requires ability to learn and understand insurance program differences between several states and how to process requested policy changes.
Flexibility to work either a 9-5:30 or 9:30-6pm shift. Recent Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years equivalent industry experience with clear working knowledge of automobile insurance terms.
UNDERWRITER - COMMERCIAL AUTO
Location: Baltimore, MD
Primary Job Functions:
We have an immediate opening in our home office located in Hanover, Maryland.
This position is responsible for review of commercial auto insurance policies to ensure qualifications/guidelines are met for those policies.
Daily contact and conversation with our agent partners is a must, in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
This includes consulting with agents to answer policy questions including but not limited to ensuring we have the correct business class, coverages, all required filing information, billing and cancellation processes.
Qualifications:
Math skills are required. Attention to detail and ability to handle multi-faceted needs and recognize where critical follow-up is required to verify accuracy in all policy information.
Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
Requires ability to learn and understand commercial insurance program differences between several states and how to process requested policy changes.
Flexibility to work either a 9-5:30 or 9:30-6pm shift. Recent Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years equivalent industry experience with clear working knowledge of commercial automobile insurance terms.
Experience with commercial automobile servicing or underwriting a plus.
